Dark Shadows an Hour Too Long

Sometimes you have a pretty strong feeling about a movie before you see it and my movie radar was going off like mad when I watched the trailers for “Dark Shadows.” This is the latest Johnny Depp/Tim Burton collaboration which re-imagines the 1960’s TV camp soap opera.
Depp plays Barnabus Collins, a man who was alive in the 1700’s. He was in love with a woman named Josette (Bella Heathcote) but had a dalliance with a maid named Angelique (Eva Green).

 Angelique got her revenge by having Josette jump off a cliff and by turning Barnabus into a vampire. She could do these things because she was a witch. Then she added insult to injury by having the townspeople bury Barnabus alive.

The movie does have some comic moments but they are not enough to bring this movie to life. It all plays out like a joke in which only director Tim Burton and star Johnny Depp are in on the humor. They seem to be enjoying it immensely but the audience and most of the cast are scratching their heads and trying to figure it all out.

This movie even made me do something I never do during a movie: I actually checked the time on my watch because I was so eager for it to be over. I just couldn’t wait for it to end; so I guess you could say that the Dark Shadows overcame Depp’s work this time.

The Guardian Express and Albertations " the blog" @ the Billboard Awards 2012

Las Vegas Nevada, Sunday the 20th, was an exhilarating experience as The Guardian Express stepped onto its first red carpet at the Billboard Awards and received an exceptional welcome from all fellow media colleagues. From the MGM Grand hotel, the 2012 Billboard Music Awards recognized the best and most unique beats that moved the music industry this year.

The red carpet was full of celebrities like Justin Bieber (definitely the one who got the audience most frantic) who later won an award for Best Social Artist and performed his latest single, "Boyfriend," while thousands of fans screamed the lyrics as he sang; and Usher, who arrived at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards in style, looking ready for the summer months in a robin's egg suit, also gave us a great presentation of his new single, "Scream."
Taylor Swift, was one of the most shocking celebrities I've ever seen in person, as she appeared to flow thorough the air like a Barbie Doll. Even without her famous curls, Taylor looked smart and sophisticated in her snappy red dress.

Katy Perry, following a record-breaking year on the charts, made her grand entrance in Vegas sporting a sleek lavender gown. The guys form The Wanted also made a flawless appearance on the red carpet. It's been a great comeback year for Nelly Furtado, who was amazing to the press: all smiles, in a classy, pre-performance ensemble and showing off her newly learned Spanish skills. She was more than willing to say a few words in Spanish for our incredible bilingual newspaper! "Hola amigos de el Guardian" she said as she laughed at her own accent. It was refreshing to see how humble and accessible all these celebrities were and to feel the sense of selfless comradery that all the reporters from different networks and media have. It was like being at a party with old friends!

 
It was no surprise that Miley Cyrus caught the camera's eye in her non-bra risqué blazer-meets-miniskirt combo. Cool as always, Miley not only looked great but she behaved as the high-class celebrity she is-- very classy. Sporting a chic summer ensemble, Billboard R&B favorite, Brandy, greeted the press but was unable to say anything to us as she ran down the red carpet. She was in a hurry because she was one of the first presenters. Definitely the queen of the red carpet was Carrie Underwood looking like a princess in an Oscar De la Renta gown.

Once inside the ceremony there were amazing performances but definitely one of the most electrifying performances of the evening was by LMAFO with his single "I'm sexy and I know it," making everybody in the audience wiggle wiggle wiggle.
 
Usher and Bieber goofed around in the front row during the show after Bieber got the crowd moving with his "Believe" single. Another dream illusion performance was brought to life by Katy Perry performing her never before heard single, "Wide Awake," while flying through the arena; and of course Chris Brown had to show his dreamy abs by taking off his shirt during his performance.

CeeLo Green was in a great mood as his one-legged soldier/dancer stole the show during their performance.
But it was not all party mode. Things got very emotional as icon award winner Stevie Wonder performed with a chorus, and John Legend and Whoopi Goldberg walked onstage to celebrate Whitney Houston. Jordin Sparks reached for the rafters during her tribute to Whitney.

Way to go Billboards 2012! The Guardian team and Albertations is looking forward to being there again next year.

Obama Emotional Words on Same Sex Marriage

 I know is all politics and also know is kind of  pathetic  to fall into this emotional  campaing move that actually is going to be very helpful for the president  , but Iam still a human being and I can't help it , I merley teared when I saw him  talking about such an emotional topic for me , as I  have always battle between the idea of  having a wedding without being percive as a total joke nor  being an embarrasment  specially to my  Dad and Brother, so a big time WOW crossed my mind as I was listening to the first black president in history taking on another historical  moment, I honestly didn't think I  was going  live to see all than   have seen in my adult years but I guess this is the future than I so eagerly wanted to experience  when  I was a kid , so here we go ....

WASHINGTON D.C. May 9th 2012 , In a dramatic shift in public opinion, Barack Obama on Wednesday became the first sitting president to announce his support for same-sex marriage.
For such a momentous announcement, President Obama surely picked an interesting way to break the news.
Obama’s disclosure on Wednesday that he supports same-sex marriage came not in a news conference, not in a policy address and not in a campaign event, but in an interview with the co-host of a morning talk show:
"I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together, when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that Don't Ask Don't Tell is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married," He said .

 
He added “You know, Malia and Sasha, they have friends whose parents are same-sex couples. There have been times where Michelle and I have been sitting around the dinner table and we’re talking about their friends and their parents, and Malia and Sasha, it wouldn’t dawn on them that somehow their friends’ parents would be treated differently. It doesn’t make sense to them and, frankly, that’s the kind of thing that prompts a change in perspective "
President Obama’s decision to embrace gay marriage may add a political complication to his reelection bid, but it is also unleashing a wave of new financial support from gay and lesbian donors who were already major backers of his candidacy.

The Lucky One” Not So Lucky After All

Once again is a pleasure to write for you my weekly Movie review and this time I went to see a movie than it might have never been my own choice but I accepted the suggestion and give it the opportunity , the movie was The lucky one , and just by the title you know it going to be a corny chick movie which I have no problem with, if they didn't actually used so sacred things to me in order to hook the audience

Number one they use patriotism ,very intelligent move , everybody loves our troops ,I personally not 100% comfortable with the whole concept of war ,but I kneel myself in front of any soldier than have the guts to say : you are going to sleep safe tonight because I am in charge, I admire that and it really bothers me when Hollywood use this particular sentiment of the American society just to sell some movie tickets, and they dress some Disney boy named Zac Efron as a marine , but I have to give it to the producers they are very intelligent , they do know what sells , you should have seen the reaction of the audience inside the theater I was full of teenage girls when Disney boy Zac took half his pants off , it was pandemonium.

 
Unfortunately Zac’s newly renovated six pack abs and big arms and thighs did make it up for his acting in this one, oh my God this guy acting skills could put a child on ibuprofen ansd starbucks to sleep, but I don't want to be completely bashful to this move because there are some good things about it , while everybody was waiting it to be Zac’s biggest crossover ,from child actor to young male roles , it was in fact a revelation of his co - actress Taylor Schilling, a strikingly beautiful new actress who I have never seen before but I am telling you that girl can seriously act, she had the whole audience in tears in one of the most beautiful scenes I have seen during a movie . So 2 thumbs up for Schilling.

 
Another thing that I couldn't’ help notice was the beautiful photography and gorgeous scenarios of this film , god job on that ! I mean once you get over the film's chilling narcissism , there is not a single actor in the movie who is not blonde and blue eyed , and just by merely coincidence the "bad guy “ happened to be a brunette, if I didn't know the author of the book Nicholas Sparks , I would bet this movie was written by a republican old white lady, and his perfect idea of the world, so this creation of the 7th art in my humble opinion ultimately makes for a pleasureless fantasy.

“Friends with Kids” : nobody beats the system

Friends with Kids is a daring and poignant ensemble mistakenly categorized as a “comedy” it was announced as created by the producers of “Bridesmaids” and has 2 of the actresses in there ,so you get into Movie theater expecting to laugh your brains out and end up watching a poorly made romantic comedy about a close circle of friends at that moment in life when children arrive and everything changes. The last two singles in the group observe the effect that kids have had on their friends' relationships and wonder if there's a better way. They decide to have a kid together and date other people. There are big laughs and unexpected emotional truths as this unconventional 'experiment' leads everyone in the group to question the nature of friendship, family and, finally, true love.

Kristen Wiig who brought to life the character of Annie Walker in “Bridesmaids” did an exceptional job proving that she is capable of doing any type of acting, which I strongly believe was the only reason she took this role , but If you ask me I’d say : Girl don’t try to re-invent what is already been invented , if you are supremely talented at making people laugh like crazy , just stick to it !

another great performance in “Friends with Kids ‘ was payed my Maya Rudolph using her dark and sarcastic sense of humor, but it wasn’t all great performances in this moive , somebody needs to let Adam Scott know he has not skills for acting , I did not believe a word that came out of his mouth in this movie , he was lazy and slow talked and lame ,awfully boring acting , 2 thumbs down for him in this one .
anyway "Friends With Kids" doesn't reinvent the parenting romantic comedy. But every now and then, it's good to have a fresh take on why nobody "beats the system" and gets away with it. you can’t fight human nature and re-invent family .






“Amigos con Niños ” : nadie le gana al sistema

Amigos con Niños es un una pelicula audaz y conmovedora erróneamente clasificado como "comedia", ya que fue anunciado como creada por los productores de "damas de honor" dos de las actrices aparecen en ella, así que entras a la sala de Cine esperando reirte a carcajadas y terminas viendo una comedia romántica mal hecha acerca de un estrecho círculo de amigos en ese momento en la vida cuando los llegan los hijos y todo cambia. Los últimos dos solteros en el grupo al observar el efecto que los niños han tenido en las relaciones de sus amigo se preguntan si existe una manera mejor. Y deciden tener un hijo juntos pero al mismo tiempo salir con otras personas. no puedo negar que hay momentos divertidos en la pelicula y verdaderas emociones inesperadas ya que esto no convencional , dicho "experimento" conduce a todos en el grupo a cuestionar la naturaleza de la amistad, la familia y, finalmente, el verdadero amor.

Kristen Wiig, que le dio vida al personaje de Annie Walker en “damas de honor" hizo un trabajo excepcional que demuestra que es capaz de tomar cualquier tipo de papel en la pantalla grande, y creo firmemente esta fue la única razón por la que tomó este papel, pero si me preguntas yo , diría: mi querida Kristen no trates de reinventar lo que ya se ha inventado, si eres supremamente talentosa en hacer reir a la gente como loca, pues dedicate a eso!

otra gran actuación en "Friends with Kids” (su nombre en ingles) la tuvo Maya Rudolph usando su sentido del humor oscuro y sarcastico.

Pero no todo fueron grandes actuaciones en esta pelicula, alguien tiene que hacerle saber a Adam Scott que sus habilidades para actuar tienen mucho potencial de crecimiento , no le creí una sola palabra que salió de su boca en esta película, actuacion perezosa y tremendamente aburrida , un cero para él en este caso.

de cualquier manera "Friends With Kids" no es nada mas que una tipica comedia romántica acerca de como criar a los hijos . Pero de vez en cuando, es bueno tener en consideración el por qué nadie le gana al sistema y se sale con la suya. no se puede luchar contra la naturaleza humana y reinventar la familia .

El Hombre en la Arena : inspirado en el discurso de Theodore Rooselvet

No es el critico el que importa ;  ni aquel que apunta su mano hacia los errores, ni aquellos que muestran las carencias de los hombres, o aquellos que siempre estan pensando que  podrían haberlo hecho mejor.

El credito  pertenece a los hombres que se encuentran en la arena, con el rostro manchado  de polvo, sudor y sangre; aquel que perseveran con valentía; aquel que yerran, que dan un traspié tras otro, ya que no hay ninguna victoria sin tropiezo, esfuerzo sin error ni defecto.

Aquellos que realmente se empeñan en lograr su cometido; quienes conocen el entusiasmo, la devoción; aquellos que se entregan a una noble causa; quienes en el mejor de los casos encuentran al final el triunfo inherente al logro grandioso; y que en el peor de los casos, si fracasan, al menos caerán con la frente en alto, de manera que su lugar jamás estará entre aquellas almas que, frías y tímidas,  que no conocen ni victoria ni fracaso.

asi es mis queridos amigos , mientras buscaba inspiracion me encontre con este increible discurso de Theodore  Rooselvet , ya que me encuentro al filo de empezar un nuevo projecto que requerira el mostrarme totalmente vulnerable, en el cual puedo potencialmente Herir a algunos pero tambien ayudar a muchos mas, un projecto donde tendre que hacer una incision en mi corazon para sacarlo todo y  algo llamado Verguenza esta tratando de apoderarse de mi ....

Pero no es eso de lo cual se trata la vida ? hacerca de atreverse en grande,  de estar en el ruedo.  y  Cuando vamos a entrar ala arena  y tenemos la mano en la puerta, y pensamos: "Entraré y lo intentaré", la vergüenza es el fantasma que dice: "Uh, uh. ¡No eres lo suficientemente bueno! Nunca terminaras el libro que quieres escribir ,  tu esposo te dejo. Sé que tu madre realmente no era psicologa era trabajora Social , Sé las cosas que te sucedieron de niño. se que tu abuela te rechasaba por ser moreno, Sé que no crees que eres  lo suficientemente apuesto o lo suficientemente inteligente o talentoso o que no tienes influencias ,se que no estuviste es una escuela privada . Sé que tu padre nunca te prestó atención, por no jugar basquet ball , La vergüenza es eso.

Y si podemos acallarla, seguir y decir: "Lo haré", alzamos la mirada y el crítico que vemos señalándonos y riéndose, es el 99 % de las veces ¿quién? Nosotros mismos. La vergüenza usa dos grandes mentiras: 1. ni eres lo suficientemente bueno ni te lo mereces   , y si puedes callarla despues te dice , Quien te crees  que eres ?

Verguenza es eso que te impide brillar , y yo personalmente la escuchado muchas veces  en mi vida pero esta vez voy a mirarla a los ojos y decirle ; ya no cabes en mi vida ! ya fue sufieciente !
Y, les dejo con  este pensamiento. Si vamos a buscar  el camino para re-encontrarnos , debevemos experimentar  vulnerabilidad. Y sé que es muy seductor quedarse fuera de la arena  porque la verdad es lo que hice toda mi vida, y piensar: voy a entrar y dare una buena pelea cuando este blindado y las balas no me toquen,  o cuando pierda el peso , o cuando tenga el dinero, cuando sea perfecto,  Y eso es seductor. Pero la verdad es que nunca sucede. E incluso si has llegado a ser tan perfecto y a prueba de balas  , eso no es lo que el publico queire ver ,. Queremos que entres. Queremos estar contigo y frente a ti. y yo solo pido a mi y a los mios que se atrevan en grande .

 Yes my friends  while looking for inspiration I found this incredible speech by Theodore
Rooselvet , as I found myself the verge of starting a new project than will  required total vulnerability from me ,  where I can potencially hurt but at the same time help a lot of people , where I am going  have to make an incition on my hearth in  order to let it all out,and shame is  trying to take over me ....

but isn't that what life is about? , about daring greatly, about being in the arena. When you walk up to that arena and you put your hand on the door, and you think, "I'm going in and I'm going to try this," shame is the gremlin who says, "Uh, uh. You're not good enough. You never finished that Book you want to write . every single one of your love partners have left you., I know your Mom wasn't really a Psicologist she was a social worker , I know those things that happened to you growing up. I know your grandmother rejected you because you were darkcolored , I know you don't think that you're handsome enough or smart enough or talented enough or powerful enough. I know your dad never paid attention,  because you didn;t play basquet ball ....I know you were never in a private but in a public school .

And if we can quiet it down and walk in and say, "I'm going to do this," we look up and the critic that we see pointing and laughing, 99 percent of the time is who? Us. Shame drives two big tapes "never good enough" and, if you can talk it out of that one, "who do you think you are?"

 Shame is that thing  than prevents you form ligthing up , and I have listen to it so many times but I am going  look at it into its eyes and say : there is no room for you in my life anymore , Its enough !

 And so I'll leave you with this thought. If we're going to find our way back to each other, vulnerability is going to be that path. And I know it's seductive to stand outside the arena, because I think I did it my whole life, and think to myself, I'm going to go in there and kick some ass when I'm bulletproof , when I get more experience, when I lose the weigth , when I have more founds , and when I'm perfect.  And that is seductive. But the truth is that never happens. And even if you got as perfect as you could and as bulletproof as you could possibly master when you got in there, that's not what people want to see.  they want you to go in.  they  want to be with you and across from you. And I just want, for myself  and the people I   care about  to dare greatly.

Fraude en Visas : avaricia pura por INFOSYS

Muchos profesionales extranjeros con especializaciones especificas residen en los estados unidos con H-1,B-1, o J-1 visas que son visas para personas con talentos no muy comunes entre la fuerza de trabajo americana , como el es caso de un servidor .

Mas sin embargo una compañía esta sido acusada de engañar al departamento de inmigración para traer fuerza de trabajo mas barata que podría estar constando trabajos a los profesionales nacidos en este país .

Las acusaciones son sujeto de un tema federal, y han sido echas en contra de una compañía gigante de información tecnológica llamada INFOSYS, infosys limited fue creada por 7 individuos en 1981 con 250 dólares, hoy son los lideres mundiales y la generación futura de información tecnológica y consulta con ganancias de alrededor de 6.825 billones de dólares.

Los cargos han sido hecho por una fuente dentó de dicha compañía, un empleado que o se atrevía ha hablar públicamente del echo: Jay Palmer un asesor principal de la compañía y también el informante que ha sacado a la luz las no tan honradas actividades de la compañía y que han dado como resulta una investigación federal, Palmer alega que la compañía Infosys se ha visto en vuelta en la practica de un fraude sistemático de U.S. visas. Palmera dice que lo primero que le llamo la atención fue en un empleado de la India que había visto en los estados unidos muchas veces , un día se le acerco y prácticamente con lágrimas en los ojos le dijo , que se encontraba en el país ilegalmente y que no quería estar aquí por miedo a que lo descubrieran .

Fue cuando Palmer empezó a investigar como Infosys parecía estar colocando un gran numero de trabajadores del corporativo desde las oficinas corporativas en india hasta los estados unidos. Al principio los trabajadores llegaban con H-1 visas que son visas de trabajo para personas especializadas con talentos difíciles de encontrar en los estados unidos, cuando se le pregunto si dichos trabajadores tenían algún talento especial que fuese difícil de encontrar en el pais Palmer dijo: “definitivamente no , ni pensarlo , muchos de ellos eran novatos, gente que solo quería venir por venir , quien sea que fuese aceptado para una visa podia venir muchos de ellos ni siquiera sabían lo que estaban haciendo”

entonces cual era el motivo para traer a estas personas cuando puedes contratar personas Americanas que hallan sido entrenados en esa disciplina en particular ? Plamer dijo : nada mas que ahorrar dinero !

Cuando los EE.UU. del Departamento de Estado comenzó a limitar el número de visas H-1B, Según Palmera Infosys comenzó a utilizar otro tipo de visa, B-1. El B-1que está destinadas para empleados que viajan a asesorar sus socios, asistir a un entrenamiento o una convención. Sin embargo, Palmera dice que los empleados fueron traídos no para las reuniones, sino para trabajo a tiempo completo. Muchas veces viviendo en condiciones no muy buenas en departamentos dondeacomodaban a varios de ellos o en cuartos de hotel .

Por ejemplo ... Si te voy a pagar $ 15.000 al año, ¿por qué tengo que pagar un americano o un trabajador legal $ 65,000 al año? No tiene sentido, es pura avaricia .

Pero una de las acusaciones más graves de Palmera es que los principales ejecutivos de la empresa no sólo sabía del supuesto fraude, pero querían expanderlo para aumentar las ganancias. Palmera dice que durante una reunión de 2010 en la sede corporativa de Infosys en Bangalore se discutió la práctica con un grupo de ejecutivos, incluyendo un vicepresidente.

como portador de una H-1 VISA me considero apto para opinar en el tema y dejenme decirles queridos lectores que esuna pena que por la mera avaricia de una empresa no solo se promueva el desempleo en este país sino que se arruinen oportunidades para auellos que desean hacer las cosas bien , gracias y hasta la proxima Alberto Angulo

Brené Brown: Listening to shame

Hello my dear reader, is a pleasure to present to you my weekly movie review , it was late on Sunday when I decided to try something new this time and purchase a ticket for a horror movie unlike I I normally do as I don’t enjoy thrillers that much but I guess I wanted to expand my platform, this time the turn is for : “The Woman in Black “ which is a 2012 thriller horror film directed by James Watkins and written by Jane Goldman and is based on Susan Hill’s novel of the same name

The film star Daniel Radcliffe best known for his work in the series of Movies “Harry Potter “and I was never completely a fun of, do a merely mediocre job in this one ,and maybe it was the shadow of the young magician from Harry Potter that came coming back into my mind but , but I couldn’t stop getting flashbacks from Harry Potter and how much Daniel has changed than I barely paid attention to the a history, the actor has obviously grown a lot in his acting, let’s not forget he did an amazing Job taking his clothes off in “Ecus” his last play but , Daniel ; you are not Johnny Deep you can’t pull this type of movies off yet, I believe Daniel is so desperately trying to get rid of the Harry Potter image than he is overthinking the type of projects that he takes on .
A young lawyer (Radcliffe) travels to a remote village where he discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman is terrorizing the local but It was just really hard for me to imagine him, being a father of a 4 year old ,in this Movie , it just didn’t really click , awfully unrealistic also it takes quite a time before the pieces of a poisonous puzzle appear, and when they do, they don't always fall into place with clarity., the end of the movie which I am obviously not going to give away is totally predictable honestly left me with a sense of being cheated and angry.
I believe the problem is not the movie itself is just than Harry Potter is six feet under and Daniel Radcliffe is understandably looking for ways to move his career in new directions. Full frontal all over the internet , singing and dancing his way through in a broadway musical and Now he’s just trying something else, but i don’t think spectators should pay for it, so you guessed it folks ! my recommendation is: do not go and see this movie , in fact get away from it as much as you can, as it will only be a total hour and 34 minutes waste of your pressure time . thanks and see you next time Albert.

hola mis queridos lectores, es un placer presentarles mi repaso semanal de las ultimas creaciones de Hollywood , ya era tarde el domingo cuando decidí tratar algo nuevo, esta vez compre un boleto para una película de terror, muy diferente a lo que usualmente veo ya que la verdad no disfruto mucho el suspenso, pero en fin quería expandir mi plataforma, y le toco el turno a la película : “la mujer de negro” una historia de suspenso presentada en el 2012 dirigida por James Watkins y escrita por Jane Goldman badsada en la novela del mismo nombre de Susan Hills .
La estrella de la Daniel Radcliffe mejor conocido por su trabajo como el protagonista de “Harry Potter” de quien la verdad nunca fui un gran fan, hace una presentación un cuanto mediocre en esta película , y tal vez fue en si la sombra del joven Mago lo que me impidió disfrutar el show , pero no pude dejar de tener flashbacks de Harry Potter, y me encontré distraido por lo mucho que este Jovensito ha cambiado, la historia no me mantuvo completamente entretenido, si bien no puedo negar que Daniel ha crecido mucho en cuanto a sus habilidades actorales se refiere , no olvidemos el buen trabajo hizo que quitadose la ropa en la obra “ ecus “ , pero Daniel, no eres Jhonny Deep no puedes aspirar a este tipo de peliculas todavia , creo que el actor esta desesperado por librarse de el encasillameinto de Harry Poter que no esta pensando bien los proyectos que toma.

Un joven abogado ( Radcliffe) viaja a una remota villa , donde descubre el fantasma de una mujer que aterroriza a los habitantes ,locales, pero me fue muy difícil creer que estaba casado y no solo eso sino que tenia un hijo de 4 años, demasiado irreal, aparte la película toma mucho tiempo antes de resolverse el rompe cabesas y cuando finalmente lo hace no hay mucha claridad , el final (que obviamente no voy a revelar) es muy predecible y honestamente me dejo sintiendome como que me acababan de tomar el pelo y un poco molesto.
pienso que la película no es el problema en si sino el echo que de que Harry Potter esta 3 metros bajo tierra y Dañe Radcliffe esta buscando maneras de mover su carrera en nuevas direcciones, con su total desnudo frontal por todo el Internet, cantando y bailando en un musical de brodway y con este proyecto simplemente estaba tratando algo nuevo . pero no considero que ningún espectador deba pagar por verla, así que adivinaron ! mi recomendacion es que no vallan a ver esta película de echo evitenla lo mas que puedan por que solo es una perdida de una hora y 34 minutos de su valioso tiempo, gracias y hasta la próxima Alberto.

" La oprtunidad en medio de la adversidad "

" En Medio de la Adversidad yace la oprtunidad" estas fueron las palabras de el increible Albert Einstain hace cientos de años, y la verdad  pienso que tenia razon , no solo porque yo   mismo  he experimentado adversidad toda mi vida, desde el dia en que naci prematuramente y mande a mi madre a un estado de coma que duro mas de un mes, adversidad se quedo a mi lado toda mi  niñes y adolecencia ya que fui un niño demasiado hiperactivo y la imagen viviente del "adolecente problema" adversidad me ha seguido tambien durante mi vida adulta en situaciones innumerables, es como si cada pedazo de felicidad que tengo haya tenido que ser pagada a un precio no muy barato , pero tambien he visto las oprotunidades que se encuentran mientras lidiiamos con las situaciones mas adversas de nuestra nuestra vida, cuando tenemos que hacer cambios con el unico objetivo de sobrevivir.
La habilidad humana para adaptarse, es algo interesante, porque la gente continuamente ha tratado de decirme como superar la adversidad, y voy a admitir algo. Esa frase nunca encajó conmigo,y siempre me sentí incómodo tratando de responder las preguntas de la gente acerca de esto, y creo que ahora comienzo a darme cuenta del por qué?, Implícita en esta frase de superar la adversidad, está la idea de que el éxito, o la felicidad, consiste en atravesar un desafío ileso o sin ser afectado por la experiencia, Sin embargo y de hecho, somos cambiados. Somos afectados, por supuesto, por un reto ,sea física, emocionalmente, o de ambas formas.Y voy a sugerir que esto es algo bueno.La adversidad no es un obstáculo al cual necesitamos rodear para poder retomar nuestra vida. Es parte de nuestra vida. Y tiendo a pensar en esto como si fuera mi sombra. A veces veo una gran parte de ella, a veces muy poca, pero siempre está conmigo. Y, ciertamente, no estoy tratando de minimizar el impacto, el peso, de la lucha de una persona.

Hay adversidad y desafíos en la vida, y es una realidad diferente para cada persona, pero la cuestión no es si vas o no a tener que enfrentar la adversidad, sino cómo la vas a encarar. Asi que, nuestra responsabilidad no es simplemente aislar de la adversidad a aquellos a quienes queremos,sino prepararlos para que la afronten bien. Y no les hacemos ningún favor a nuestros hijos cuando les hacemos sentir que no están equipados para adaptarse.

Al no tratar a la persona en su totalidad, al no reconocer su potencial, estamos creando otro mal encima de cualquier lucha natural que puedan ya tener. Estamos poniendo una calificación al valor que alguien tiene para nuestra comunidad. Y, más importante aún, hay una asociación entre esas deficiencias percibidas y nuestra más grande habilidad creativa. Así que no se trata de menospreciar, o negar, esos momentos de mayor prueba como algo que queremos evitar u ocultar,sino que, en vez de eso, se trata de encontrar esas oportunidades que están ocultas dentro de la adversidad.Así que, tal vez, la idea que quiero expresar es, no tanto el superar la adversidad,sino el abrirnos a ella, abrazarla, forcejear con ella, tal vez, incluso, bailar con ella. Y quizás, si vemos la adversidad como algo natural, consistente y útil, estaremos menos oprimidos por su presencia.

Este año celebramos los 200 años del nacimiento de Charles Darwin, y hace 150 años, cuando escribía sobre la evolución, Darwin puso de manifiesto, creo, una verdad acerca del carácter de los seres humanos. Para parafrasearlo, "no es la especie mas fuerte la que sobrevive ,ni tampoco la más inteligente la que sobrevive, sino aquellla que se adapta mejor al cambio". El conflicto es la génesis de la creatividad podemos reconocer que la habilidad humana para sobrevivir y prosperar está impulsada por la lucha del espíritu humano a través del conflicto y hacia la transformación. Así que, de nuevo, la transformación, la adaptación, es nuestra mayor habilidad humana. Y, tal vez, no es sino hasta que somos probados, que sabemos de lo que estamos hechos. Quizás esto es lo que la adversidad nos da, un sentido de "sí mismo", un sentido de nuestro propio poder.Así que, podemos darnos un regalo.Podemos repensar la adversidad como algo más que simplemente tiempos difíciles. Tal vez podemos verla como cambio. La adversidad es sólo un cambio al cual todavía no nos hemos adaptado.

 

Pienso que la mayor adversidad que nos hemos creado es la idea de" normalidad". Díganme, ¿quién es normal? No existe lo normal. Existe lo común. Existe lo típico. No existe lo normal. Y, ¿querrían ustedes conocer a esas pobres personas, de color beige, si existieran? Pienso que no. Si podemos cambiar este paradigma y pasar de uno que busca alcanzar la normalidad a otro de posibilidades, o de fuerza, para ser un poco más arriesgados, podemos liberar el poder de tantos otros niños,e invitarlos a poner al servicio de la comunidad esas raras y valiosas habilidades que ellos poseen.

Solo necesitamos abrir los ojos a nuestro propio poder, y despegamos ! . si pudieses darle a alguien la llave de su porpio poder , el espíritu humano es tan receptivo, si pudieras hacerlo y asi abrir una puerta para alguien en un momento crucial, estás educándole en el mejor sentido. Estás enseñándole a abrir puertas para sí mismo. De hecho, el significado exacto de la palabra " educar " proviene de la raíz "educe." que significa, sacar a luz lo que tenemos dentro, manifestar el potencial .Así que, de nuevo, ¿cuál es el potencial que queremos manifestar ? mis queridos lectores, los dejo con esta pregunta para meditar, como siempre deseanlose lo mejor Alberto Angulo


The oportunity in adversity

"In the middle of adversity lies opportunity " this were the words of the incredible Albert Einstein hundred of years ago and I happen to believe he was right ,not only because I have experimented adversity all my life , since the day I was prematurely born and sent my Mother into a coma that lasted over a month, adversity stuck by me all through my childhood and adolescence as I was an overly hyperactive kid and basically the embodiment of the so called "troubled teenager ", it has followed me through my adult life in uncountable ways is like if every single piece of happiness than I have had , needed to be paid for, but also because I have seen the opportunities than a human being encounters while dealing with the most undefeatable situations of his life, where we have to make changes in order to just survive.


The human ability to adapt it's an interesting thing, because people have continually wanted to talk to me about overcoming adversity,and I'm going to make an admission: This phrase never sat right with me, and I always felt uneasy trying to answer people's questions about it, and I think I'm starting to figure out why: Implicit in this phrase of "overcoming adversity" is the idea that success, or happiness, is about emerging on the other side of a challenging experience unscathed or unmarked by the experience, But, in fact, we are changed. We are marked, of course, by a challenge,whether physically, emotionally or both. And I'm going to suggest that this is a good thing. Adversity isn't an obstacle that we need to get around in order to resume living our life. It's part of our life. And I tend to think of it like my shadow. Sometimes I see a lot of it, sometimes there's very little, but it's always with me .And, certainly, I'm not trying to diminish the impact, the weight, of a person's struggle.

There is adversity and challenge in life and it's all very real and relative to every single person but the question isn't whether or not you're going to meet adversity, but how you're going to meet it. So, our responsibility is not simply shielding those we care for from adversity, but preparing them to meet it well. And we do a disservice to our kids when we make them feel that they're not equipped to adapt.

By not treating the wholeness of a person, by not acknowledging their potency, we are creating another ill on top of whatever natural struggle they might have. We are effectively grading someone's worth to our community. there's a partnership between those perceived deficiencies and our greatest creative ability. So it's not about devaluing, or negating, these more trying times as something we want to avoid or sweep under the rug, but instead to find those opportunities wrapped in the adversity.So maybe the idea I want to put out there is not so much overcoming adversity as it is opening ourselves up to it embracing it, grappling with it,to use a wrestling term, maybe even dancing with it.  And, perhaps, if we see adversity as natural, consistent and useful, we're less burdened by the presence of it.

This year we celebrate the 200th birthday of Charles Darwin,and it was 150 years ago, when writing about evolution, that Darwin illustrated, I think, a truth about the human character.To paraphrase: “It's not the strongest of the species that survives,nor is it the most intelligent that survives; it is the one that is most adaptable to change”. Conflict is the genesis of creation. From Darwin's work, amongst others, we can recognize that the human ability to survive and flourish is driven by the struggle of the human spirit through conflict into transformation. So, again, transformation, adaptation, is our greatest human skill. and perhaps until we are tested we will never know what are we made of . Maybe that's what adversity gives us: a sense of self, a sense of our own power. So, we can give ourselves a gift. We can re-imagine adversity as something more than just “tough times”.Maybe we can see it as change. Adversity is just change that we haven't adapted ourselves to yet.

I think the greatest adversity that we've created for ourselves is this idea of “normalcy”. Now, who's normal? There's no normal.There's common, there's typical. There's no normal, and would you want to meet that poor, beige person if they existed? I don't think so.If we can change this paradigm from one of achieving normalcy to one of possibility or potency, to be even a little bit more dangerous , we can release the power of so many more children, and invite them to engage their rare and valuable abilities with the community.

All you really need is one person , to show you the epiphany of your own power, and you're off ! If you can hand somebody the key to their own power the human spirit is so receptive ,if you can do that and open a door for someone at a crucial moment, you are educating them in the best sense. You're teaching them to open doors for themselves. In fact, the exact meaning of the word "educate" comes from the root word "educe." It means to bring forth what is within, to bring out potential, So again, which potential do we want to bring out? "The Hunger Games" : a Game ? or a subliminal effort to desensitize teenagers about death ?

      I found myself on sunday afternoon waiting on a movie theater with some reservation and not too much exiciment one of them most expected movies of the season " The Hunger Games " which is a young adult novel written by Suzanne Collins that was first published on September 14, 2008, by Scholastic in hardcover.

 It is written in the voice of sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen who lives in a post-apocalyptic world in the country of Panem in my opinion a very fatalistic and communistic not to mention masonic point of view of the future ,where the countries of North America once existed. The Capitol, a highly advanced metropolis, holds absolute power over the rest of the nation ruled by a socialist regimen and a dictator of advanced age and with very little respect for human life nor any moral standards poorly played by actor Donald Sutherland .

The Hunger Games are an annual event in which one boy and one girl aged 12 to 18 from each of the 12 districts surrounding the Capitol are selected by lottery to compete in a televised battle in which only one person can survive.

The movie was able to collect more than 155 million dollars on its first weekend, which shockingly is enough money to feed the population of this planet several times, Ironic isn't ? drag ourselves to watch a movie than pretends to create consciousness about world hunger while it makes millions than can easily be used to feed those in need, nevertheless as a movie I found it incredibly boring and honestly I was waiting for way more scenes than can potencially keep me paste to the screen, logistic in this piece of " the seventh art " is very slow, they take too long to develop the history and there is too many silent moments, which lead me to wonder in my thoughts instead of being completely submerge into the show.

Now I have established than this movie wasn't really my favorite one of this season , but there is something than I find completly disturbing, not only the fact than is based in a fatalistic racially exclusive ,but very quietly tries to desensitize our teenagers about dead and murder by placing in front of them uncountable scenes with violence and enjoyment for killing.

 Of course the director of the movie tried to defense himself by saying it was Katniss's perspective and how she sees things what he pretended to present , but the reality is than teenagers in this country are already attacked by pretty bad influences and I don't think they need another platform to see people killing other people just for the fun of it and in such a natural way.
 
  So I would strongly recommend parents to see this movie before they drive their teenagers to the movie theater, we have all the right to decide what our kids minds are feed with. Along the way they are going to find many people who will try to tell them who they are and how they should behave so we should make sure we tell them first, let them know we care and be the first and most important influence for them or someone or perhaps something else will .

21st Jump Street : Una Comedia con Alma

21 jump street es una comedia de accion americana con la joven estrella de la pantalla grande Jonah Hill , quien ha caído en la tendencia de hollywood de bajar muchisimo de peso , lo cual no creo que sea muy buena Idea ya si bien el joven Johan ha llegado muy lejos en su corta carrera con una nominación al oscar trabajando al lado del increíble Brad Pitt en Money Ball , no debemos olvidar que Jonah es un comediante y que gran parte de su encanto radicaba en su figura robusta, pero en fin, creo que en esta ocasión podemos pasarlo desapercibido ya que en esta película demostró que no importa como luscas mientras se cuente con talento. El joven actor estuvo ilógicamente gracioso con el humor sarcástico y seco que lo caracteriza.

Y que podemos decir acerca del galán Chaning Tatum quien en los primeros pasos de su carrera corrió peligro a encasillares como el típico actor guapo que solo aparece en películas románticas y sin muchas líneas que decir , comprobó que las espectativas estaban equivocadas ya que su actuación en este proyecto es de admirarse  dándole vida a un personaje increíblemente adorable y vulnerable.

Siendo un poco modesto les diré que mi experiencia acerca de películas es bastante amplia lo cual me hace un poco especial cuando se trata de darle una buena critica a una película, mas tengo que reconocer que pocas veces en mi vida me había reído tanto en un cine y definitivamente no fue la copa de vino que me tome antes de la función ya que todos en la sala estaban al borde de un ataque de tanta carcajada, la película fue escrita por Hill y Michael Bacall y dirigida por Phil Lord y Chris Miller , también es una secuencia de el show de televisión del mismo nombre creado en 1987 por Stephen J. Cannel .
Mientras salía del show me preguntaba que debería de escribir acerca de esta película, y no podía dejar de pensar en cual había sido la formula usada para su éxito ? Y creo que fue la combinación de diferentes elementos, definitivamente hay que decir que quien sea que haya escrito esta historia es un genio por que ya de por si es difícil escribir manuscritos para Hollywood, mucho mas si es una comedia. y especialmente una comedia con tanta alma y corazón, no se si el auto lo hizo deliberadamente pero la historia trata el tema de Conexión que es para lo que todo ser humano ha sido puesto en la tierra para conectar, empatisar y ayudar a los demás y cuando tratamos de separarnos del nuestros semejantes por miedo a ser percibidos como , "nerds"," naco" " fresa " etc.. Es cuando empiezan los problemas, ya que vamos en contra de nuestra propia naturaleza y necesidad de empatia y conexión.

Dicha comedia habla de una manera muy graciosa acerca de unirse uno con otro para lograr mejores resultados, el universo nos ha dado a cada uno talentos suficientes para tener éxito en la vida. Yo no tengo los talentos y habilidades de alguien mas al igual que nadie mas tiene mis talentos todos somos capaces y mientras no dejemos de querer ser o tener la vida de alguien mas no vamos a florecer en la nuestra, yo no tengo la capacidad de ser feliz con la vida de alguien mas solo con la mia ! , gracias a todos mis lectores y a diferencia de la semana pasada esta pelicual la recomiendo bastante solo un pequeno consejo , poca soda ! ya que con tanta risa tu vejiga corre peligro y aparte el lenguaje usado es fuerte y puede ser considerado ofensivo por algunos.
